Each support member is eligible for the

”Gates of HEL”-card

As an supportive member with us you’re not required of involvement but are open to do so, the most amazing thing is that you’re giving us the resources to pay for creative work and action,

IF you’re someone who’d want to join in the process of creating videos, please let us know your special skills, resources and interests in your application. We’re always on a look for helping hands, ideas, topics and gear and would help you to learn what we do – and ofc, learn from you ;)

Thehelsgoinon has not taken any money etc from making a video. If there ever were to be a paid commercial on our site, it were to be very clearly marked on the video.

• Yhdistyksen tarkoituksena on edistää, esitellä ja kehittää paikalliskulttuuria, yhdistys- ja harrastustoimintaa sekä yhteiskunnallista keskustelua. Yhdistys keskittyy toimintaan, joka aktivoi kaupunkilaisia, edistää tasa-arvoa, yhteisöllisyyttä ja kestävää kehitystä.

• Toiminta on voittoa tavoittelematonta. Yhdistys on aatteellisesti tasa-arvoa ja paikalliskulttuuria vaaliva.

• Tämän toteuttaakseen yhdistys voi esimerkiksi luoda sisältöä eri median kanaviin, tarjota jäsenilleen vapaa-ajan toimintaa ja etuja, työllistää jäseniään kulttuuri- ja mediakentällä sekä tuottaa tapahtumia.

Toimintansa tukemiseksi yhdistys voi ottaa vastaan lahjoituksia, avustuksia ja testamentteja sekä järjestää asianomaisella luvalla arpajaisia, rahankeruita, myyjäisiä ja hupitilaisuuksia.

• Yhdistys koostuu kahdenlaisista jäsenistä; varsinaisista jäsenistä, joille kuuluu hallituksen kokouksissa yksi ääni ja paikka, sekä vuosimääräisistä tukijäsenistä. Sekä varsinaiset että kannatusjäsenet maksavat jäsenmaksun. Tukijäsenenksi voi liittyä milloin tahansa. 

• Jäsenten hyväksyntä yhdistykseen on riippumatta heidän taustan, etnisyydestä, sukupuolesta tai seksuaalisuudesta. Jäseniltä odotetaan tasa-arvoa edistävää ja ylläpitävää toimintaa. 
  

• Varsinainen jäsen on henkilö, joka hyväksyy yhdistyksen tarkoituksen ja toiminnan.

• Jäseneksi hyväksymisestä päättää yhdistyksen kokous yksinkertaisella ääntenenemmistöllä.

• Tukijäseneksi voi liittyä kuka tahansa henkilö milloin tahansa.

• Tukijäseneksi hyväksymisestä päättää yhdistyksen kokous yksinkertaisella äänienemmistöllä.

• The association's name is thehelsgoinon ry. Its registered in Helsinki, and its field of operation is the media, culture, and events sector.

• The association's VAT is 3623148-4.

• The purpose of the organization is to promote, showcase, and develop local culture, grass-roots activity, communities and and public discourse. Thehelsgoinon rf focuses on activities that engage residents, promote equality and sustainable development.

• The association operates on a non-profit basis. It is ideologically committed to promoting equality and preserving local culture.

• To achieve its purpose, the association may, for example, create content for various media channels, provide its members with leisure activities and benefits, employ its members in the cultural and media sectors, and organize events.

• To support its activities, the association may receive donations, grants, and bequests, and may, with the appropriate permits, organize lotteries, fundraising campaigns, fairs, and recreational events.

• The association consists of two types of members: full members, who are entitled to one vote and one seat in board meetings, and supporting members, whose membership is valid on an annual basis. Both full members and supporting members are required to pay a membership fee. Supporting membership may be obtained at any time.

• Membership approval is decided regardless of an applicant’s background, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. Members are expected to act in ways that promote and uphold equality.

• A full member is a person who accepts the purpose and activities of the association. Admission as a full member is decided by a simple majority vote at a meeting of the association.

• Any person may become a supporting member at any time. Admission as a supporting member is decided by a simple majority vote at a meeting of the organization.
